Terms
Terms of Service
These terms describe permitted use, balance usage, customer responsibilities, and service availability for CarrierLookup.
Last updated: July 20, 2026
1. Service use
CarrierLookup provides realtime checks (a single phone number or up to 500 phone numbers in the dashboard; a single phone number or up to 100 phone numbers via the API) and asynchronous bulk checks (upload a file as a task, from 1,000 phone numbers).
2. Balance
Permanent balance is charged per completed validation according to the selected product. 30-day plan balance is spent first and expires after its current 30-day period. Failed or undetermined checks return the reservation to the same wallet. Permanent top-ups are one-time purchases; 30-day plans renew automatically every 30 days until auto-renewal is turned off.
3. Customer responsibility
Customers are responsible for lawful use of carrier lookup data and protecting their API keys.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to facilitate spam, harassment, unlawful surveillance, credential sharing, attempts to bypass limits, or interference with the service. A validation result does not grant permission to contact a person.
5. Result interpretation
Results describe the original carrier allocation returned at the time of a lookup. They are not proof of identity, ownership, consent, reachability, or future availability, and must not be the sole basis for a high-impact decision.
6. Availability
Results may be affected by external service availability. Maintenance or check-service errors may temporarily prevent a response.
